Tibor Csörgeö was a Hungarian photographer known for his high-contrast imagery. Csörgeö played an important role in the development of photographic movement in Hungary, and was one of the founding members of the Association of Hungarian Photographers, which is Hungary’s principal photography association supporting the development of photographic culture in Hungary through prestigious grants and awards

His work was published in seminal Hungarian photographic journals such as Fotóművészet, Fotó Amatőr, Fotóművészeti Hírek, Fotószemle, Fotóélet, Fotó; as well as Kodak Magazine, Gebrauchsfotografie, Fotografische Rundschaun, and the Gevaert Photo-Service.
