ASOUE

In ASOUE (A Series of Unfortunate Events), Michael Wolf reinterprets the genre of street photography by using the almost inexhaustible picture pool of Google street views as basic material for his own images. For asoue, Wolf has collected, as the title of the publication states, a series of unfortunate events, including car fires, pedestrian collisions, bicycle accidents, and people dropping their groceries. His images address issues of voyeurism and privacy in the modern city.
